Liz's Class Notes

Artist Philippe Cheng is leading our senior learners on a journey of self-discovery in our residency at The Watermill Center this January. The students are using the format of the United States passport as a unique anchor to explore the role of a passport in their lives. This approach allows them to delve into their identities, documenting their past and future travels, musical tastes, and even opinions about democracy. Each passport is a window into the uniqueness of the senior learners. The students have also taken self-portraits and selected an object of interest from The Watermill collection as part of their work, further enriching their use of the United States passport format.

We invite you to a culmination of the students' journey of self-discovery at the residency's in-process showing on Wednesday, February 5th, at 1:00 p.m. at The Watermill Center. Parents and the Hayground Community are encouraged to attend.
